Eco-museum and not only
The museum of the reserve has been set up in an ancient building in the village of Grange. Opened in March 2000, was called “Eco-museum of the Reserve” as a first step made of the future network ecomuseale.
This space is designed to bring together in the same place a territorial museum centered on its natural and historical-anthropological site, a Visitor Centre Nature Reserve, that can guide and assist visitors, and a Laboratory
teaching aimed at raising public awareness and young people in particular in the proper use of environmental resources.
This space is a:
- Museum participated: with the involvement of citizens, this museum has grown as the story of a community, interpreted in order to return it with objectivity and scientific;
- Museo reattivo: the visitor is the protagonist, choose, interacts, select, reflects, knows, and discovers the meaning of;
- Museum diversified:for languages, to content, for users. From fairy tale to search. A museum for all.
Besides the museum there is:
- Educational workshops;
- Ambientale Library;
- Bibliomediateca;
- Screen Room;
- Offices of the Reserve;
- Remote Sensing;
- Sala di smielatura;
- Giardino didattico.
