The route begins in the museum from the lowest level, where is located the entrance. The room on the ground floor, shall be arranged so as to favor the emotional aspect. The territory of the reserve is presented for themes to be discovered through the use of the senses while stressing the importance of the ability to look through every possible key to understanding the phenomena with which reality manifests itself.
The three rooms upstairs bed through the territory is divided into three areas, identified by landscape units that follow one another in overlapping ranges in altitude. The lower band, from the valley to the foothills is one in which the human presence is more consistent; the middle of the forest shows a continuous evolution of the balance between human activities and wild fauna and flora; the last band, that extends from the steep limestone cliffs to the summit grasslands, is the one that retains, alongside the traces of an ancient religious culture and pastoral, elements of the original natural.
The cultural landscape is described as a set of processing activities that man has done historically in the territory. This represents a shift from the wall depicting the marks left by the Roman settlements, dall'incastellamento medieval, by earthquake 1915. In the next room was built a hypertext mechanic who explores the environment of beech wood which is read in both horizontal, highlighting the "content" from the treetops to the ground, both vertically showing the change of life in the woods during the different seasons. A third possible reading you in depth, with the ability to extract silhouettes containing various insights on how the stories most feared mammal in the imagination, the wolf, seen as a predator, as a metaphor of human behavior, as a magic symbol. Following exhibition spaces that tell the landscape of cliffs, with their presence wildlife and vegetation.
Concludes the museum a game summary that helps to clarify the concept of belonging of human beings to their landscape, in which you can put in the right place local elements or out of context.
